Hey FJ,
What if I told you that you could sleep 4 hours a day, and be more healthy than you are now?
Would you call bullshit?
Would you be a skeptical hippo?
Well don't be. |

Most people use the monophasic schedule, one chunk of sleep, usually at night. But the Everyman... the Everyman is special.
You have one chunk of 2-4 hours of sleep, then 2-4 evenly spaced naps throughout the day. Each nap is 20 minutes. The idea in a nutshell is that your sleep cycles (how long it takes to go from stage 1 to stage 5, or REM sleep) speed up to about 20 minutes once you get used to the schedule. You get about a week of being tired as shit all the time, and then you get amazing sleep. Most people feel more energetic on the 4 hour schedule than an 8 hour normal one. |

There are basically no drawbacks to this method, other than being slightly annoying to schedule. The biggest gain is time - if you sleep 8 hours a day, do you realize how long that really is? That's ONE THIRD of your life spent DOING NOTHING. Wouldn't you like to halve that? I would.
Extra time. Do whatever you want - read, play videogames, do homework, make compilations, fap, etc.
Another great benefit is distorted perception of time - people who have followed the schedule for months report feeling like the rest of the world slows down around them - basically like the Hammy the Chipmunk scene in Over the Hedge. |
So, Funnyjunk, 4chan, anon, and the rest of you,
I challenge you to try this schedule for a month. If you don't like it, no big deal, just go back to normal. If you do,
FUCK YEAH BRO.
Also here's a cute fox panda thingy for your daily cute quota. |
